On November 7th 2023, our Maya Wildevuur’s Legacy auction closed, with great interest from the art community. The large group of visitors during the viewing days and the high number of online bids show how many collectors love Wildevuur’s oeuvre. Thankfully, many people had the opportunity to acquire one of Wildevuur’s artworks. With a sales percentage of 100%, we look back at a very successful auction.

With pleasure we look back on our Post-War & Contemporary Art auctions, which were held on 18 and 19 October 2023. With a sales percentage of over 80% and almost 1.7 million in sales (buyers’ premium included), we are more than pleased with the results of these auctions. Due to great international interest in our varied collection of artworks, most bidders participated online, by absentee bid or by phone.

With more than 7.500 bids, we reached over 2 million euros in sales!

This year, The Hague is the city of Escher (1898-1972)! In 2023 it is 125 years ago that this beloved and world-famous artist was born. Since Escher’s first big retrospective exhibition happened in this city and it still holds one of the biggest collections of Escher’s works, The Hague is certainly a beautiful place to celebrate this anniversary!
