This auction includes an extensive selection of unique works and multiples by Dutch and international artists.
In the online auction, which opens on April 8th , you can discover works by artists like Armando, Etienne Elias, Anton Henning, Frieda Hunziker, Jan van Munster, Joseph Ongenae, Tomas Rajlich, Starn Twins, Geer van Velde and Henk Visch.

A highlight is the collection of works by indigenous Australian artists Emily Kame Kngwarreye and Clifford Possum Tjapaltjarri.

Venduehuis The Hague is proud to announce the auction The Lucassen Collection, in which a significant part of the private collection of artist Lucassen will be up for auction. The collection includes almost 250 lots. The live hammer auction is planned for 24 April at Pulchri Studio at Lange Voorhout 15, in The Hague, while the online auction will run from 8 to 25 April on venduehuis.com. The viewing days will be at Venduehuis The Hague, from 18 to 22 April. 

Lucassen is well-known as an expressive artist, but is also famed as a dedicated collector. His own collection includes works of famed contemporaries such as Roger Raveel, Maryan, Willem Hussem, Etienne Elias, Lucebert and Penck. Other artists whose work can be found in this collection are popart artists Tom Wesselmann and Jim Dine, and classical artists like James Ensor and Jean Brusselmans. 

Futhermore, the auction offers an extensive selection of artworks, including Tribal Art from New Guinea, Africa, and paintings by successful Aboriginal artist Emily Kame Kngwarreye. The rare etchings by Dutch artist Willem van Genk show Lucassen’s love for outsider art.
