Auction results Vendue Next Door February

In this article, we reflect on the Vendue Next Door auctions of February 2025. Once again, we achieved great results this month, especially regarding the stunning jewelry and watches that were offered.

One of the most impressive lots in Part 1 of this auction was lot 2529: two similar polychrome-painted porcelain vases with butterflies. With no fewer than 66 bids, these two 20th-century vases were hammered at €6,000.

Another remarkable result was for lot 1045, a men’s Omega wristwatch. After 24 bids, this watch went under the hammer for €850!

Part 2 of the Next Door auctions mainly featured paintings, which sold for high prices. For example, Sloot in de winter by Johan Meijer (1885-1970) was auctioned for €2,200! Additionally, there were some striking works by Karel Appel (1921-2006) that achieved high hammer prices. Lot 10102 was one of them, selling for €1,300!

With the conclusion of the Vendue Next Door auction, we are also announcing the start of the aftersales. You can now purchase lots directly at the lowest bid price, without having to place a bid. Be quick!
